Kingdom Minded

Kingdom Minded

Many churches have been trying to become more kingdom minded. I have found several ways in which churches have been able to do so that have made a huge difference. It is very important for a church to do this in order to align themselves to the same principles as the Kingdom of God. First of all, a lot of churches make sure they harp on the biblical teachings about the core values of the Kingdom of God. This could include things like Gods love, compassion, and mercy. By doing so it spreads not only knowledge of these values but helps encourage people to live by it.

Additionally, I have found more kingdom minded churches have made an effort to be more involved in their community. This could be through different projects, mission work, charities, etc. They want to help others and make a difference in people’s lives. They want to give back to their communities and be able to touch and care for those around them.

Also, I have found it very important that churches act with generosity and stewardship. We have found this to be true throughout our semester course and always see it day by day. They should want to be gracious towards others and continue to work in other people’s lives by using their talents and abilities. The church should utilize their efforts to glorify God by helping others around them. By doing so, it aids God in working in peoples lives and gives others the opportunity to do something good for someone else. It can become a ripple effect. Showing generosity and doing nice things for others rubs off on others and gives God a chance to work in their hearts. Considering all of these factors a church can become more successful in reaching more people and doing so in a more kingdom minded way.
