God’s Garage is a nonprofit organization based out of Houston, Texas. This organization helps single ladies, widows, and wives of deployed military with all their vehicle needs. They do everything from changing tires to giving cars away. In the garage, they do not charge these women for the labor. Most of the parts are donated and they are able to purchase parts with cash donations. This is the first company I’ve really heard about that was serving God’s kingdom with cars. I would like to consider myself a car guy; I love everything about them. So for me, this mission is awesome because it combines something I am passionate about with bringing glory to God. Through donated cars and parts they are able to help these lonely women through difficult times. In 2019 they were able to give away 133 vehicles and repair 105 vehicle for those in need. They are working to become a full time mission because right now they don’t have enough volunteer mechanics to work every day but in the future they see themselves expanding to full time. They are even available to anyone who wishes to volunteer no matter your mechanical skills. They offer to train the volunteers to get smaller tasks done. God’s Garage is a great mission with a great purpose and they are redemptive entrepreneurs in their market

“We are endeavoring to meet physical needs of transportation, spiritual needs of guidance, and even financial budgeting courses for those who receive a vehicle.”
