Forever 21

I was really surprised that Forever 21 was a Christian-based business that shares many of the same values as me. I’ve seen these stores in almost every mall I’ve ever been to, but I have never walked in I assumed it was just like H&M and other clothing stores. Do Won Chang is the founder of Forever 21. Him and his wife are devout Christians, and their faith has played a significant role in the growth and success of their business. In fact, the couple has been very open about their Christian beliefs and how it influences the way they run their company.

One of the ways that Forever 21 expresses its Christian faith is through the messages printed on its shopping bags. Some of these messages include John 3:16 and Jesus loves you. These messages are meant to inspire and uplift customers and remind them of the company’s values.

Forever 21 has also been involved in various charitable activities that reflect their Christian beliefs. In 2013, the company partnered with World Vision, a Christian humanitarian organization, to launch a program that provided aid to children in need.

In conclusion, Forever 21 is truly a redemptive-minded business. The company’s founders, Do Won Chang and Jin Sook Chang, are devout Christians who have integrated their faith into the way they run their businesses. The way Do Won Chang runs his business is truly inspiring and has thought me that giving glory back to God will always be rewarding in the end.

  • Hello!
I shop at Forever 21 a ton, so this was very interesting to me. When I have gone there in the past I have seen a lot of sweatshirts and t-shirts that have either bible verses or biblical references on them. I think it is super cool that they do charity events. This shows their redemptive mindset, even though they are such a big brand. I did not know that the founders were Christians, so that is really cool to hear. Thank you for sharing!

  • I was surprised too! I think I have seen some of their Bible verses on shopping bags or on shirts, but I did not know about the charity part. I think its awesome that they are partners with World Vision, my church has worked with them before too.
