Collage Coffee is a coffee shop that is located right off of the Grove City College campus within walking distance. Because of this, this is a coffee shop location that is known throughout the Grove City Christian community. Surprisingly enough, Collage is not a coffee shop that is outwardly redemptive. However, they do a lot of things that make them redemptive in nature without trying. For one, Collage is almost never open on weekends. The choice to observe a sabbath like this is redemptive for their employees and outward community. The only instances that they are open on weekends is during Grove City’s finals week. This is an act of service is something that the college community at Grove City looks forward to during this season of needing coffee. Another way that collage is outwardly redemptive on the community is by always being willing to supply coffee and goods for events on campus. Planning social events on campus can sometimes lead to stress while finding coffee to provide or raffle basket donations. Collage is taking a lot of stress off of people at Grove City for being so willing to provide. This is something that is redemptive as well as we are called to be good stewards of our resources.
