Close to home but still important

Tucked away in the rolling hills and rough mountains of West Virginia is an organization that is very near and dear to my heart. This organization is called More Grace Outreach or for short MGO. More Grace Outreach is a non-profit organization that supports over 3000 families in the local region around Grafton and Fairmount WV. I’ve personally gone down to More Grace Outreach with my church for the last 5 years for mission trips. We have done a whole bunch of things while there. From Building an entire chapel, renovating multiple buildings in the area, and renovating their home base, we have done a lot to support them. The reason why I and my church support this random non-profit organization in the middle of WV is because More Grace Outreach truly is a redemptive organization. They give these people who are often forgotten in the American consciousness a second chance and the support they need to grow in Christ.  Starting from nothing, the founder of the organization Elizabeth Luffy, truly wanted to help out her community in a way that could bring them to Christ. At first, she did an amazing job but as More Grace Outreach grew, the demand for everything would go up and up as more and more families came to More Grace Outreach for support. Luckily, she got in contact with my church, and ever since we’ve never had an organization that wanted to help more than More Grace Outreach.
