BLQK COFFEE

BLQK Coffee was created by the formal NFL player, Justin Watson.  He created this company in order to highlight the relationship that coffee holds with the community.  This company donates 25% of its profits to African American communities and also donates to various organizations that aim to improve education, fight for food justice, etc.  Upon visiting their website, the first page that is presented to the viewer states,” Spreading Joy & Inspiring Service. We Roast to Give Back“.  Right off the bat, the company lets the reader know that their purpose and their drive is to give back.  Further, their mission statement reads, “Our mission is to spread joy and inspire service through our coffee and a commitment to giving back.”  Again, this company reiterates their overall purpose of giving back.  Coffee is an incredibly clever way to bring receptiveness into the market.  Coffee is something that has been extremely prominent in society, for it is something that teenagers, adults, and elderly drink. Coffee connects people to the community and BLQK coffee has recognized this.

BLQK Coffee contains a portion of their website, where customers can say hi.  There is a place to leave your email and a text box where the viewer can say hello and leave a thought.  I thought this was important because it shows their care for the community.  There are many places that do not take feedback very seriously and do not put in the effort behind customer service.

BLQK Coffee is an incredible redemptive entrepreneurial company.  Their focus is on giving back to the community by means of something that many people enjoy.  This company sells Coffee, Coffee Kits, Coffee Accessories, and Gift Cards.  Instead of stopping by a Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts, maybe take a few minutes to look into BLQK Coffee and order one of their roasts to try yourself!
