Altar’d State

One of my favorite stores to visit at the Ross Park mall is Altar’d State.  Upon visiting the store, each visitor is attracted to the beautiful window display.  Further, each customer is met with a kind employee, seeking to answer any questions or inquiries. The store itself, contains a plethora of beautiful clothing, accessories, and shoe wear.  Perhaps the most attractive merchandise that the store sells is their line of Christian themed clothing and decorations.  Passages from the Bible are printed on various pieces of clothing, necklaces, plaques, and blankets.  The store itself is stunning, as its decorations and bright lights create an incredibly welcoming and comfortable feeling to it.    Upon searching their website, they state their mission statement, “Our mission is to serve as an inspiration, empower others and give more than we receive. We do this by lifting those who need a helping hand, volunteering our time to enrich lives, and extending the power of prayer.”.  As per my experience with this company, they work hard to stay true to carrying out this statement.

Altar’ d state has proven to be a redemptive company because despite the challenge to be a successful Christian store amidst the questionable crowd that tends to peruse the mall, this store perseveres and has proven to not only be profitable, but successful in working towards their mission statement.   This store is very refreshing, as it sits in a location that also contains companies that are not putting forth their best effort to spread the word and love of God.  As stated on their website, Altar’ d state works hard to “make the world a better place” through their customer service and spreading the power of God and prayer through their products.
