There are so many amazing Christian businesses and organizations out there that truly have a gospel centered mission and strive to help others with their business. One organization that emulates these attributes is Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), a non-profit organization that packages meals for starving children around the world. They have created a formula that creates the most nutritious and simple/easy to make meals for malnourished children and their families. They are called “MannaPack Rice” and they send them to 60+ countries and have helped to save thousands of lives. FMSC is run through the help of volunteers who pack the meals and send them off to the different countries.
I have had the privilege of serving at FMSC quite a few times over the years, and one of the most impactful moments at FMSC is when they share a story with you. One such story was the story of three-year-old Tisine who lived in the rural mountains of Haiti. Tisine was one of 11 children in his family and they had little to nothing to eat. He was severely malnourished and was unable to have a play filled life like a normal three-year-old would. His mother, being worried for his chances of survival, brought him to one of the FMSC distributing partners. There he received the health care and food that he needed to regain his health. Tisine now is able to run around and play with the other children and is always laughing and smiling, according to his mother. Below is a picture of Tisine before and after being fed MannaPack Rice.

FMSC helps thousands of other children just like Tisine. It is an incredible organization that has centered its business plan around the gospel and the service of others. Through being run by volunteers they allow for the everyday person to be apart of something much bigger than themselves and help save the lives of children around the world.
