He Would Love First
Have you ever wondered what the answer to what Jesus would do is? Well, this brand is called “He would Love First” and it signifies what Jesus would do. Their mission is “a movement using the famous question ‘what would Jesus do?’ to point people back to the cross and what He did! We hope our apparel starts conversations about Jesus and tells the world about the hope, redemption, and forgiveness found in Jesus Christ!”
I really like how this brand focuses on prioritizing their apparel with having a purpose behind it. Their mission to start conversations about the Gospel by wearing the apparel is a great way to get people curious about Jesus. It can be really hard sometimes to go out and evangelize or even try to make a conversation talking about the Gospel. Having apparel that is cute and conveys a message helps to make interactions and conversations about Jesus easier.
Another thing I’ve really liked about this brand is how with every order they include a free bracelet to share with someone to help spread the Gospel. This is a great idea because as a customer, you’re getting the opportunity to pass on the good news of the Gospel to someone who needs it. The bracelets say “W.W.J.D. X H.W.L.F.” on them and it’s a great reminder to realize that Jesus would’ve chosen to love us first, so we should do the same to others. On some of the bracelets, there’s even a NFC link that takes you to a page on their website that tells the bracelet owner “you got this bracelet for a reason!” There is also a YouTube video linked to share how Jesus wants a relationship with us and how to get plugged into a local church in their area. Overall, HWLF is an amazing apparel store with a mission to share the Gospel and made Jesus known through our everyday lives.
I love the idea of using everyday apparel as a conversation starter about faith it’s a creative and accessible way to spread the message of the Gospel without it feeling forced. This brand reminds us that redemptive impact can show up in even the simplest things we wear.
