Ivory Ella is a brand of clothing that I loved as a little girl.  They are known for their adorable elephant icon on their clothing.   This company sells products such as shirts, sweatpants, bags, socks, etc.  Their mission is to save the elephants.  On their website, they display statistics.  So far, Ivory Ella has donated over 2 million dollars to saving elephants, gained 13 supporting schools, and are currently tracking elephants using a new-collar technology. Ivory Ella is spreading awareness about the ivory trade and habitat and range loss.

This brand stood out to me because although Ivory Ella does not display to be Christian, they display many Chrisitan and redemptive values.  They donate fifty percent of their sales to saving elephants.  This brand recognizes the harm that is being done to these precious animals and have decided to act and support the saving of God’s creation.  As a whole, Ivory Ella is promoting comfort, compassion, and consciousness for elephants, who are an incredible show of God’s love and gentleness for the world.  They state on their website that “Empathy is strength and power”.  People have great power to cause and bring about change in the world and are responsible for loving and caring for God’s creation.  A few key phrases on their site that stood out and stuck with me is, “Lighten your footprint.  Protect theirs.” and “Lead and Follow”.  I believe that these two quotes relate largely to Christianity.  As Christians, we should give what we have to others and place our faith and trust in God.  We should be doing what we can do spread the good news and lightening the hearts of other people. Lastly, we should lead and follow.  Leading those who feel lost in their faith or falling off path and encourage them to join us, in following behind the footsteps of Christ. Ivory Ella does not plainly state that they are a Christian company, however, they display many redemptive Christian values!

  1. I love this! Ivory Ella was a staple in many girls’ closets when I was younger. I love the values that this company has, and I love how they carry their brand. I think these values are super attractive for people looking to buy. Saving animals is always impactful, especially when saving them can be supported by buying something as simple as a shirt. I love how you broke down their mission statement!

  2. It’s great to see how Ivory Ella is making a positive impact on saving elephants and promoting awareness about the ivory trade and habitat loss. It’s even more inspiring to see how their values align with Christian beliefs. Keep supporting brands like Ivory Ella that are making a difference in the world!

  3. I think I have seen them growing up! It’s very interesting to me that they do not say they are Christian, but pull out many Christian values. I wonder if the founders are Christians? Those key words and actions line up with Biblical teaching, and It is also important to take care of what has been entrusted to us by God. Thanks for sharing!
