As I have been looking back on my experiences with redemptive organizations, Rock Mountain Bible Camp (RMBC) quickly came to mind. While this camp is located in a very remote and mountainous region of Northeastern PA, it still manages to attract thousands of visitors every year. During my senior year of high school, I attended my church’s youth group winter retreat at RMBC and it was truly a life changing experience. Through various opportunities to enjoy fun camp activities, worship, attend sermons, and develop deeper friendships with my peers it was a great way to experience Christ in a fun environment.

While many camps solely operate during the warmer months of late spring and the summer, RMBC is open year round. While they offer summer camp programs as well as weekend retreats for youth groups, they also minister to adults who simply want to stay at camp for a weekend. They have various activities for the whole family to enjoy and minister to their attendees in any way they can.

RMBC also has 5 core values their staff is trained to live by which are gospel-centered, love of Christ, relationships, service, and excellence. Through implementing these 5 values across their organization, God has used RMBC to minister to thousands of people unreached with the Gospel.
