Soapbox

Soapbox

Soapbox is a company that sells personal care products ranging from hand sanitizer, shampoo, and body lotions, but they are far greater than a soap business. Soapbox is a redemptive business that has a mission to give back and provide sustainable impact in communities. Every time someone purchases from Soapbox, a bar of soap is donated to homeless shelters and food pantries. Their multiple partnerships allow them to make an impact all over the world in places like India, Cambodia, Africa, and more.

David Simnick, CEO of soapbox, choose soap to be a part of his mission because it increases childhood attentiveness in school and there is a major decrease in childhood mortality just by using soap. Their process matters in the way in which the soap is derived from. Soapbox focuses on community led solutions for local problems. It allows communities to find solutions to their problems and continue in those without Soapbox in the future.

Soapbox is intentional in every step. On each product, donors have the opportunity to see the impact they made with their purchase with the “hope code”. This code is used to find the project that customers specifically helped benefit. Soapbar is an awesome redemptive business and in their mission they have been extremely successful as they have donated over 20 million soap bars to communities all over the world.

  1. Wow! This is a super interesting company. The statistics that you added in and the reasons as to why the CEO chose soap is very interesting to me. You would never think soap would actually change children’s lives! I am glad that they have a heart to give back to their communities.

  2. This is a wonderful business that is bringing lasting impact, health, and support to the surrounding communities. I love when business seek to help their customers and go a step further to help people in need that cannot be their customers due to financial need, and Soapbox is seeking to accomplish that. The fact that they have donated over 20 million bars of soap shows their generosity and love and mission to serve people.
