The Warren Family Mission

The Warren Family Mission

Warren Family Mission Offers Shelter, Food, Recovery - Business ...

In Warren, Ohio there is a great need for food and shelter and all sorts of rehabilitation. It is my hometown and I love it here. But, much of Warren is an area of poverty and a serious opioid problem. The Warren Family mission is located downtown in the heart of it all. They are a shining light to many in the area. There mission is to make a difference, one life at a time. It is “A Christ centered Non-Profit rescue mission which provides food, shelter, clothing, spiritual and drug and alcohol rehabilitation help free of charge to participants from Trumbull County and its surrounding area.” In 2017, they were serving close to 11,000 meals per month. They have all sorts of programs for those that struggle with addiction to grow closer to the lord and help them quit. This mission is being entrepreneurial because they are constantly creating and innovating new programs to further there mission. They have “Hannah’s House” which is specifically for women that struggle with addiction. Another program is the “Rides for Recovery Program” that give people a ride who are in desperate need. Every month they spend 1,500 hours praying and doing spiritual counseling, 3,000 hours of drug and rehabilitation training, and 2,000 people a month are receiving clothing. This mission is one close to my heart because it is the city I live in. Warren is a great place with great people that care. The Warren Family Mission embodies what Warren is all about. They are entrepreneurs in their field.

  1. This is an awesome non profit! My town also has a very active food pantry/resources for those in need since many people cannot support themselves or their families, but the turnout is nowhere close to this! It is amazing how God can bless those in need by putting good people around them. Super uplifting post! 🙂

  2. Awesome post Zach! Cool to see local missions, because they’re redemptive too! We sometimes forget about them and don’t think how we can help those that are around us!
