The Purpose Hotel is an inspiring endeavor, it is truly an engine for change. Started by Jeremy Cowart, a freelance photographer had many hotel experiences traveling for his job. Jeremy was inspired by his experiences to develop a hotel, that through hospitality, made an impact on many different levels just by staying in one of the hotel rooms. The Purpose Hotel enables customers to “give back” even by sleeping. From the art displayed in each room to help support humanitarian artists, to directing revenue from premium wifi to support human trafficking as well as using each room to support a child The Purpose Hotel is taking Hospitality to an entirely new level.
The Purpose Hotel even partners with The Giving Keys which they use to give access to each hotel room. Each aspect of the building has the purpose of giving back to others and supporting those who cannot support themselves. I see The Purpose Hotel as a hub or continual engine for social good. This hotel makes it so easy for so many people to be involved in amazing good and answer the call we have as Christians to love and serve others. Hospitality is a Biblical principle that I believe has been somewhat lost today. As Christian individuals and families, we need to begin incorporating hospitality into our culture again. The Purpose Hotel has taken an industry focused on providing hospitality and has shaken it up by providing a meaningful experience for its customers.
