Investment is crucial part of entrepreneurship that is needed in almost every business started. And the hardest part of getting investors interested in your business venture is finding those that have the same values as you do and that your company does business by. Often getting these two to line up can be quite difficult especially when your business holds to redemptive Christian morals.
This is why Cedarworks created The Lion’s Den. The Lions Den is an annual convention where businesses who wish to be stewards for the Lord can come and pitch to investors who share their same passion and want to support businesses who’s mission is to serve the Lord and use their skills to make a real redemptive differences in the world.
“A group of Birmingham business professionals created The Lion’s Den event in 2014 to “Inspire, Educate and Mobilize” people to invest their time, talents, and other resources in the Kingdom through “Business as Mission.” … The Lion’s Den began to establish itself as a forum for action-oriented professionals coming from across the country to network and collaborate. ”
Because it is so hard for redemptive businesses or really any Christian discipleship minded person to gain much favor these days, this non-profit is such a blessing to so many other businesses, because they are able to access investors who will trust in them and offer them a chance that the businesses would be unlikely to see otherwise.
