The Constant Company – Part Two

After further discussion with Mrs. Messer and the team, we recognized that Mrs. Messer was in need of a website or platform where she can sell her products.

My team and I began researching the best platforms that tailored to Mrs. Messer’s needs as a new small business owner. We looked at multiple options, these included: Shopify and Etsy. After much researching and consulting, we concluded that Etsy would be the best option for Mrs. Messer at this time. Etsy is the best option because it’s a less expensive, user friendly, hands off approach. Whereas Shopify is more expensive and tedious to set up and manage.

Mrs. Messer also expressed that it would be valuable to her if we did market research. She also mentioned that stickers may be a good way to market her brand since her target market tends to put stickers in visible places such as laptops and water bottles. We learned in our market research that the majority of people would purchase a sticker that is $2.00-$3.00. With this research, we came up with two options for stickers to be printed at an affordable price, these being Grove City’s print services of Etsy.

Website research and market research is huge to any new small business. We hope that this research and information is helpful for the Constant Company for years to come.
