Although the current Covid-19 pandemic has caused most Churches across the country to shut down, this is also an opportunity for innovative new methods of spreading the word. Despite being unable to hold services in person, many churches have opted for an online-streaming method. In addition to allowing those in quarantine to continue worshipping every Sunday, it also allows for new growth opportunities regarding digital ministries. Churches that previously had little to no online outreach are now streaming and recording their worship sessions. Even outside of a pandemic situation, individuals who for various reasons cannot attend a church physically, are now able to keep up with their weekly church of choice. Although the transition to an online outreach format seems obvious in a time like this, many churches were simply not adapting. The current pandemic has shed new light on the importance of online ministries for many churches across the country, and most will be much better of post-pandemic because of this. Although this process of online adaptation was a seemingly inevitable transition, recent events have simply expedited this process.
