The Barbershop Ministry was started by Kenny Williams who is a Barber in Ohio. He started the Barbershop a number of years ago because he wanted to share God’s love with people who needed a haircut. Kenny is an incredible guy with true genuine faith and I actually was able to call him on the phone to learn a bit about his ministry. Kenny has recently opened up a new shop that has extra space for Bible study and a lounge.
What Kenny is doing is incredible for the community and is truly a blessing to those he serves. Kenny is an ordained minister at his church and has completely opened himself to being a vessel for the kingdom. I would love to take a visit to meet Kenny in the future. It is interesting that he has chosen to be so explicit with his mission by calling his Shop “The Barbershop Ministry.” I’m not sure I would be so explicit in the way I present the idea, but it does mean he is getting guys who want to dig deep in faith. I appreciate what Kenny has been doing.
