Doesn’t frozen yogurt sound soooo good right now? Well it will sound even better to you when I tell you that the amazing frozen yogurt business called Sweet Frog is a Christian company.  “Frog” actually stands for “Fully Rely On God.” Sweet Frog has a very similar vision to Chick-fil-a but they are a smaller company, only having about 260 stores.

Their mission statement is:
“The F.R.O.G. in sweetFrog stands for Fully Rely On God, and we show that by being a good neighbor everywhere we move into. Through local partnerships, fundraisers, and much more, our stores become part of the fabric that wraps their communities.”

To me, this sounds very similar to Chick-fil-a because of their attitude towards all people and how they treat others everywhere they go such a caterings or fundraisers.  They also support local partnerships and organizations that they want to bless, just like Chick-fil-a does. Companies like these deserve a lot more recognition for their faith based businesses because it is not easy being the minority in our secular world.  Sweet Frog does a great job mixing their faith with the rest of their business without scaring customers away or shoving it down people’s throats.

Hey Professor Sweet, can we take a class field trip when it gets a little warmer to the nearest Sweet Frog in Tarentum PA??? (Store #35462)

  • My hometown has one of these stores. Everyone was talking about it back when it was announced. A lot of non-believer friends of mine always looked forward to going there! It's a beautiful thing when Christian business owners find a way to integrate the Christian worldview into their venture by showcasing craftsmanship in the product and service.

  • I had sweet frog once. I liked it. I did not have any clue that it was a religious company. Now that I know this, I may go back. It's always good knowing which companies have strong christian values like Sweet Frog does.

  • I love this! I think it really goes to show that you can do ministry literally anywhere! Who would guess that a frozen yogurt company would have a Kingdom mentality! Plus, talk about a quality way to reach unreached people!

  • I've never had Sweet Frog before, but I do love some good frozen yogurt! I really love the meaning behind even the company name, F.R.O.G. - Fully Rely On God. They seem to do a really good job of impacting the communities they go into with all that you mentioned, which is really cool as well.

  • My brother worked at a sweet frog for a few years and I don't think any of us ever knew this. I love it and I with they could capitalize more on their employees. A very cool idea, however and I am fully on board with taking a class trip. Big fan of frozen yogurt.
