In Texas, something quite amazing is happening in the church and the world of entrepreneurship. The First Presbyterian Church of Houston, which is located in Texas has launched an ambitious project that is designed to connect entrepreneurs all over the world to one another in order to foster new ideas to help community outreach.
This ambitious program is called “Project Flourish.” First Presbyterian Church of Houston invites people to submit various innovative ideas and concepts that are Gospel-driven and focused on improving not only local communities, but the entire world. The church hopes that they will receive some truly innovative and creative ideas, which will help them accomplish their goal of community outreach much better.
In December of 2017, after receiving many project ideas and submissions, the church selected 10 finalists, who each got a share of the $250,000 prize in order to help launch their ideas that will change communities and lives by spreading the Gospel in areas that are in dire need of hearing the good news of Jesus.
Even better, First Presbyterian Church serves as a real point of community outreach in the Houston area and has an extensive children’s ministry program that is designed to help give underprivileged kids the opportunity to receive a quality education in local charter schools and, more importantly, attend Bible classes and develop a real, loving relationship with the Lord.
Project Flourish continues to grow and is continually promoting creative, Christian outreach projects that are helping to promote the Gospel in a creative, and interesting way. Project Flourish is a brilliant idea that combines the creativity of entrepreneurial thinking and redemptive, Christian values to create real change and impact in the world.
