Planning Center – Simplified Communication

Planning Center, the company behind the Church Center app, has revolutionized how churches communicate with their congregation. Through the app, members are able to give, sign up for events, learn more information, and much more! My church, MissionView Church, has adopted this app and has seen great success with its ease of use and efficiency. Planning Center has managed to remain a Christian company with entrepreneurial behaviors.

Their focus remains on their customers being churches. They aim to deliver a seamless app experience to make it easier for churches to communicate with their congregation with events, tithings, general announcements, and much more. They also provide a directory for the congregation to expand the opportunity for communication. Churches have received Planning Center’s app well and many churches have implemented it.

Planning Center shows an entrepreneurial spirit through its problem-solving. Their founders, being from the ministry, noticed the inefficiency present in churches’ operations and wanted to find a solution. While Church Center is not their only app, it is the most well-known among churchgoers as they interact with it regularly. My home church, MissionView, as well as Grove City Alliance Church, which I have visited a few times, use this app well. Their implementation of events and announcements makes sign-ups easier and creates a fluid system.

Planning Center has found something complicated in the church systems around the nation and came up with a great solution. Their app has allowed churches to be more efficient and attract a younger audience with their “new age” technology. Their entrepreneurial spirit shows in their problem-solving, customer influence, and marketing. So many churches have implemented this app and it is growing every month! I enjoy using this app and will continue to do as much as I can. My experience as a church member is better in every way the app set out to be.
