Ocean is a redemptive company that provides Christ-centered training for current and future entrepreneurs to bring impact and influence to today’s culture. Business owners are the future of culture. It is important to have culture influenced by the Bible rather than the secular marketplace and Ocean has recognized the growth in the entrepreneurship vocation but also the lack of Christ-centered businesses in today’s world. They acknowledge the importance of ministry in the marketplace because the majority of Jesus’ public appearances were in the marketplace. Ocean offers multiple programs that provide entrepreneurs with valuable training that weaves Biblical principles throughout. Their mission is to help build more redemptive companies and integrate Bible believing principles into entrepreneurial practice. Ocean is founded and guided by two important Bible verses: Matthew 16:26 and Isaiah 58:12. They believe that intersecting Biblical principles and business, more entrepreneurs can produce healthy cultures and healthy marketplaces.
Their Genesis program is a nine week course that teaches entrepreneurs to build a business concept, model, and craft a plan. The course provides the opportunity to learn alongside a community of entrepreneurs while learning from professionals and leaders. Genesis equips you to become a leader in the entrepreneurship world and gain feedback to help assemble a successful launch. Genesis also helps entrepreneurs anchor their business and connect with peers throughout the process. Alumni that have taken the Genesis course have stated that it changed their life and transformed their business for the better.
Ocean has been extremely successful in their mission attracting participants from 16 different countries. This is a really great redemptive entrepreneur idea to be able to establish great next-generation business innovators. Being able to teach people how to become redemptive and create their own business is an excellent skill to be able to teach others. The OCEAN organization has become very broad and well known to be able to have a great impact in the world today.
