In the attached video Shannon Hopkins, from the Church Mission Society in the UK, talks about what it means to use and help others with the idea of missional entrepreneurship. Shannon talks about how she used to be a missionary and Church planter in the UK but then decided to try and work in the area of entrepreneurship and helping others to succeed in the area of entrepreneurship. Shannon then discusses how her study of entrepreneurship opened her eyes and helped her to see that the mission is not as limited as just setting up a Church and getting people to come and convert to Christ but rather it is working toward a whole transformation of the people and the place in which we live. She says that this idea has helped her to completely change her scope on what the word “mission” means and see that there is more to it then simply Church planting.

In addition, Shannon talks about what is important to help new entrepreneurs succeed, and the largest thing is simply having someone alongside you do help encourage you and guide you through whatever it is you are doing. Having someone there to push you along and give you the thumbs up as you are brainstorming and trying to create a new business can help to make all the difference.
