Live Original is a ministry and brand created by Sadie Robertson Huff in 2014. Her brand was created with the goal to be a sister and a friend to those who don’t have one themselves. She believes that everyone needs a sister in Christ and a Godly friend who can laugh with them, cry with them, dance with them, speak truth to them, and love them wherever they are at in life. She says “You were originally created by intentional design in the image of God, and I hope your confidence in that will continue to grow so that you can be all that He created you to be.” The first thing you see on the LO shop website is a popup that says “Let’s be sisters and friends.” This demonstrates how inviting and loving this brand is. The Live Original shop has so many different products inspired by her mission. The products range from sweatshirts to shirts, to stickers, to hats, and even cups as a collaboration with simply modern. Sadie has also written 3 books and a devotional. Another branch of this is her Live Original podcast titled “Whoa That’s Good.” This podcast goes through scripture and gives sound biblical advice. She has had many guests on her podcast that are well-known for their influence on the Christian community. In addition, LO hosts conferences called: LO Sister Conferences. You can either buy tickets to the event in LA or pay a fee to host the conference in your house, at your church, with friends, or even with your small group.
Sadie reaches a lot of young girls that are walking with God and beginning their faith journey through her brand LO. She is setting an example for girls all over the world by stepping out in her faith. LO is such a redemptively-minded business because the goal is for others to feel loved and like they have someone to count on.
