There are currently over 750,000 divorces in the United States each year. The chance of divorce in America has been slightly declining since the 1990s, but not by much. People are still struggling in their marriages, whether Christian or not. Unfortunately, many people still do not consider receiving counseling for their marital issues. Couples are desperately in need of a way to improve their relationship, but they often don’t know where to start.
Steve Dziedzic founded “Lasting,” a personalized marriage health plan app, to “help [couples] build and maintain the health of their marriage.” Couples can start by taking the online quiz on their website and eventually subscribe to Lasting’s online service. Lasting offers tools to help people in their communication skills, conflict skills, healthy habits, and relationship goals. Lasting is transforming the culture of broken relationships into a culture of repaired relationships.
Of course, the image of marriage can never truly be repaired without the true and perfect marriage: Christ and the God created marriage for good, but it was corrupted by sin. Church. Jesus came to Earth to redeem the broken and went to the cross on our behalf. Because of Jesus’ death on the cross, all our sins (infidelity, abuse, lust, pride, hate, etc.) can be washed clean and through His resurrection, we can have new life. Anyone who commits their life to Jesus can have a restored and redeemed marriage, through the blood of Christ.
