As a Christ-centered financial services organization, Hope International employs redemptive principles to the work they are doing with entrepreneurs all across the globe. While investing in impoverished families with business ideas to serve their communities, thousands of people are impacted by the entrepreneurial spirit of those that Hope International partners with. Although Hope International could do a lot just by supplying monetary grants and loans to these families, the services they provide do so much more.
To begin, the whole ministry is centered around discipleship as Hope International staff members share the Gospel and facilitate Bible studies with clients. As a result, the organization not only seeks to assist their partners financially, but spiritually as well. In addition, Hope International offers training to equip the uneducated with the tools they need to run their businesses successfully. With this, it is apparent that staff members are truly invested in providing clients lasting knowledge that will serve them well in the future. Finally, Hope International provides savings and loans to assist these entrepreneurs in starting their business ventures. While this is where people’s donations most practically come into play, the other ventures associated with training and sharing the Gospel make up a huge component of the ministry as well.
Though Hope International is known primarily as a Christian financial services company, the work they are doing goes far beyond that simple description. By partnering with entrepreneurs financial as well as spiritually and vocationally, the organization is offering many different aspects which clients need to successfully start a business. While Hope International is focused on using business to lead many to Christ, they are truly giving their clients a hope that will never fade.
