On the website in the “About Us” section, the company writes, “Through Christian fashion, we as believers can be a true light by spreading the Word of God without even opening our mouths.”
That sentence encapsulates what the brand is about really well. The owners wanted their shirts to be designed in a way that leverages fashion to draw attention to the Word of God. They are a brand that cares for men, women, and children to follow the Great Commission and that is why they have apparel for all different types of people. Through their clothing, Fabrics of Faith is paving ways for people to share their faith which truly aligns with their mission. This company truly understands what it means to be a “redemptive brand” and I believe there is much to learn from the way they conduct their business.
This business is really cool! It’s such a neat way to help people create opportunities to share the Gospel. Christians can, in a clever way, leverage what they wear in order to open doors to share stories and engage with others about who God is. I think its really cool when entrepreneurs take something popular such as fashion and make it redemptive. Pop culture has such a grip on the population so why not make something good out of it!
I really like that they are keeping up with fashion trends in order to spread the Word of God. I find that to be so important because a lot of people are interested in fashion and this is just another amazing opportunity and avenue to take in order to open up others to faith. So many people nowadays are into the graphic tees which I have seen so often with scripture and different creative imagery of the bible on them. It makes you notice it and want to understand the meaning behind the shirt.
