Every Shelter- Relief in the Refugee Camps

Every Shelter is a nonprofit organization sponsored by Praxis that focuses on one basic human right: Shelter. People cannot survive with shelter and families cannot thrive without one. The mission of this organization is to relieve the millions of people suffering from the displacement of war, natural disaster, or persecution. Every Shelter will help bring design and creativity to provide products that will provide refugees a shelter. Many of these people in this unfortunate situation cannot control the situation they were placed into. Founder and CEO, Scott Key, felt called to provide stability to those that lack the necessities to thrive. Scott saw a need and worked diligently to create a company that can address these needs. A model of relief and development creates their goals of short-term, immediate, and rapid needs meeting gradual, long-term, and durable solutions.

Every Shelter is a redemptively minded organization because of the core values they intend to live by. They focus on human-centered work to empower them and give them the tools they need to succeed. Then they believe in quality design so shelters can be high quality and durable. Lastly, they follow a collaborative innovation that required a collective force of knowledge and work. They understand this work cannot be done without the Lord and everyone’s team effort. Every Shelter focuses on meeting the people where they are and bringing basic needs.
