With human innovation and creation comes great consequences and a new set of problems. It is shown through the bible how God is a creator, just look to all the wonders of the world. He created the sea, the fish, and the coral reefs. Over the years though the coral reefs have been on a constant decline from oil spills to over fishing and digging canals. Humans have hurt the great sea that God has created for us to sustain life. Eternal Reefs is combating that with a slight twist. More and more people cremate their loved ones and often times do not know what to do with the remains afterwards. Well Eternal ReefsĀ  founded by George Frankle Of Sarasorta, Flordia created a different kind of resting place to those who have passed. Eternal Reefs make, ” a permanent environmental living legacy as a gift to the environment and generations yet to come”. The reef balls as you see above help give microorganisms a place where they can grow and develop, helping to save the coral reefs and preserve Gods creation. The balls are made out of a mixture of ashed and a environmentally safe concert where the families can decorate and pay a permanent tribute and resting place to their fallen loved one, “From placing your hand print in the damp concrete during the casting, making a rubbing of the bronze plaque during the viewing ceremony”. Eternal Reefs is a business giving back to Gods creation by helping to repair and create new habitats for all of God’s creation in the sea. The reefs help those families who have lost a loved one gain peace and comfort. Eternal reef is expressing Gods love through healing within the families and restoring through the reef balls. There are currently 750,000 eternal reef balls in the ocean today and that amount is expected to continue to increase.

  1. Thanks for sharing! Eternal Reefs is a really unique organization. It’s a very interesting way to handle the ashes of a loved one. How old is the business?
