eduKenya and Redemptive Entrepreneurship

eduKenya is an organization that helps to break the cycle of poverty through education.  It is a Christ-centered business that wants to evoke change that will impact generations to come.  They work specifically in Nairobi, Kenya where they serve 600,000 people.  Their vision is to help these families live a full life in-Christ through education.  eduKenya values integrity and compassion.  They focus on people, church, partnership, stewardship, transformation development, sustainability, and prayer.  This organization is focused on helping people, as they are created in the image of Christ.  They are working to bring love and peace to these communities.  They are even working with other organizations and donors to give opportunities to the people in Nairobi, Kenya.  eduKenya even looks forward to ensure that this organization will not fall and it will be sustainable and impactful for however long the people need.

Adam Gould, started eduKenya.  Him and his family went to my church.  I did not know him very well, but I knew his parents Steve and Sherri.  They are so kind and so willing to help those wherever God calls them.  Adam created eduKenya after he saw and lived alongside the struggles and poverty that people specifically in Mathare, Nairobi had.  In 2010, eduKenya became a non-profit.

eduKenya is truly an example of redemptive entrepreneurship.  They are renewing culture through providing new opportunities that are sustainable.  They are working to stop generational poverty through a business that is not wavering because they do not know where funds will come from.  They are blessing these people by being compassionate and showing the love of Jesus.  They are dying to themselves as they are so committed and willing to make true sacrifices.  Adam lives in Kenya, across the world from his family.  His dad, Steve, invested into the eduKenya with his own personal funds to help support this cause.  eduKenya is a perfect example of redemptive entrepreneurship in a business.
