How does one change a culture?

Recently, I discovered a cool person named Larry Hubatka. He has some awesome content he puts out pretty much daily, and it’s usually about leadership and culture. He was just on a podcast called “Coffee Break” where he unpacked a lot of insight into how culture works and gave a good definition of what it is. It’s not easy to influence culture- it’s a long process that requires dedication and patience.

I recommend listening to what he had to say!

Cultural influence requires strong leadership. We touched on this in class this morning. Your company won’t go very far with employees who don’t fit your company’s culture. Everyone must be on board with the mission and share the leader’s passion.

This blog post isn’t meant to supply answers, but rather to inspire questions. I’ve thought a lot about what it would take to influence culture on a large scale, especially American culture, and I still have a long journey ahead of me. If you have any thoughts on it, I would love to hear them!
