Over break college students such as myself usually look for ways to fill their time. Rather than sitting on a couch watching tv I decided to better myself by listening to podcasts. I started off with my usual podcasts ranging from golf to the casual interviews with retired mob bosses. I wanted to grow when I was home so I decided to search for a Christian podcast and many of them weren’t relatable. Through trial and error I found a podcast, “Conversations with John & Lisa Bevere”. This podcast ranged through plenty of topics and I was able to find multiple series in areas where I wanted to learn.
John and Lisa’s podcasts range to many different topics, but many of the options can cater well to Christian college students whether you are dating or in a relationship. This podcast is a great way to reach young Christians looking to grow, it is a casual sermon that you can listen to anyplace anytime. Both John and Lisa are renowned speakers and do a great job keeping each topic interesting and biblical. This area of podcasts that have redemptive impact is a great way to reach a digital generation. This podcast offers many challenges on how to please a diverse group of people while still being true to Christian beliefs and they do a great job with it.
Podcasts have been proven to have impact and people of all ages enjoy listening to them. We have consistently seen many podcasters blow up and have millions of listeners. This is proving to be an area where innovation continues and it is great to see Christians utilizing it.
Nice post! I agree that over break trying to fill the free time with meaningful activities that will help us grow and learn was hard especially when I could just sit and watch TV or play video games. I like how you filled your time with listening to podcasts that provide important information for Christians. I should have thought of this over break.
Podcast are always great to fill up time, because I enjoy listening to Christian Podcast. That is very cool that they offer many challenges how to please diverse group of people by still being true as Christian. I think I am going have to had this to my library in my Spotify and listen to this podcast!
