Although Chick-fil-A is a very well known business, with having amazing food that everyone loves, this company also was founded on Christian values. Chick-fil-A founder, Truett Cathy, based his business on Biblical principles that he believed were also good business principles.
In 1946, Cathy opened a small diner called the Dwarf Grill in Hapeville, Georgia. In this diner, the signature Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich was created. This allowed for the company to grow and become the nation’s top chicken chain. So, how is Chick-fi-A redemptive? Personal connections are very important to this company as they serve like Christ. This company supports local communities through fundraisers, charitable donations and getting involved with causes that matter to their communities and guests. Chick-fil-A’s purpose statement: “To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us. To have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.” This company creates amazing food, a good work environment, and an even better experience for its customers. They do an amazing job at serving their community, just like Christ did in this world!

Chick-Fil-A is proof that a business founded on Christian principles, and that sticks to those values can be just as successful. Chick-Fil-A is incredibly successful for only being open 6 days per week, and considering the contraversy they've attracted. The media wants to repramend Chick-Fil-A for their beliefs in the nuclear family.
I am so lucky to be alive at the same time as Chick-Fil-A, and it is great to see a Christian business thrive and do so well while sticking to its values. Aspects of Chick-Fil-A like its dedication to being closed on Sunday, something that many food chains and businesses in general have dropped as years have progressed, and the fact that even with these policies the business continues to thrive, is very encouraging to see.
Chick-Fil-A is a great example of a successful redemptive business. Their Christian values and the way that they interact with their customers is a huge part of who they are. It's amazing how they've stuck close to these values since the beginning as it's helped them grow and become a reputable company.
It is amazing to see a Christian business that sticks to their morals thriving in the fast food business! I love that Chic Fil A not only has a Christian foundation, but that it started so small! It is a great reminder that God uses little things and makes them into big things with even bigger impacts!
