When it comes to a strongly motivated redemptive business, Charitywater is an excellent example. Its mission is to give clean water to the people over in Africa and multiple places all over the world. This organization had a young girl involved who wanted to change the world one gift at a time. Her wish for her 9th birthday was to raise about $300 for people who need water and that would be able to give that to 15 people. When her birthday came, she didn’t quite make the goal, but she was inspired to reach it the next year. The tragedy however was that she was in a car crash and was killed not long after. Since then, many people had heard her story and made it their goal to make Rachel’s legacy live on with her aspiring goal to make the world a better place. Because of her goal and legacy and aspiration to make it, people have raised $1,265,823, have given 37,770 people clean water, and 143 water projects were built in her honor. With this very small goal of a child, it made a greater impact on the world and her loving heart has lived on in the mission to provide clean water to people in Ethiopia and around the world.
Since they have been established the entire organization in 2006, its goal is to end the global water crisis. To do so, donations from all over the world have been able to help people as they give 100% of their donations to help end this crisis and provide containers and wells of clean water. There were 1.1 billion people from all over the world without clean water and they decided to do something about that. Charitywater has helped serve 14,762,251 people in 29 countries and they have funded 91,414 water projects from all over the world as well. Their goal is to help all the people in need in developing countries and in doing so, give them a better way of life while showing them the love of Christ through their mission. To minister to these people who are quite poor and don’t have access to much, the least we could do and the most important thing would be to make sure that they have clean water to drink and cook with.

I think this organization is amazing for giving back to other countries and i love their uniqueness by being able to celebrate birthdays through charity: water. Watching the video in class about the organization but also about the young boy really made me want to do this for my birthday because I would rather raise money to help others than receive gifts.
