Brio Magazine

Brio Magazine is a Christian magazine for teen girls from middle to high school age. It is unique in the way that it covers topics such as dating, school, and social media with the added twist of living a Christ-centered life. The magazine offers practical advice, recipes, fun stories, and activities that readers enjoy engaging in. The website states “We’re here to help you grow in your faith, encourage healthy relationships and address real-life topics that will help you navigate the teen years”. It is a bi-monthly publication, and, as someone who used to read them all the time when I was younger, they truly are helpful in discussing difficult or uncomfortable topics and in making young girls feel more comfortable with themselves all through the lens of being God’s creation. Something special with the magazine is the ability to email or mail in questions of your own. Some of these questions get chosen for publication and someone on the Brio team responds with a God-focused answer, but even if a question doesn’t get chosen for publication the team will still take the time to write back in the hopes of helping whoever has a question. It is a wonderful idea and shows just how important it is to demonstrate what a Christ-centered life is like.
