To begin, I am not sponsored by Bombas, but I sure as heck would LOVE to be! By far, this brand creates the most comfortable and durable sock. Not only do they make all types of socks, but also underwear, T-shirts, and slippers. They are more on the higher end of the everyday essentials, but it is worth it due to their lifetime warrantee and their mission!
The redemptive concept of Bombas is buy one give one which is front and center on their website where it talks about their mission and long term goals. The company is based out of NYC and the founders wanted to provide the #1 asked for thing amongst homeless people which is socks. So what they did was design a specific pair of socks with technology to keep peoples foot comfortable and warm, while the sock kept its shape. For example, here is also the goal when making this specific sock for homeless people:
- “An antimicrobial treatment extends wearability between washes.
- Versatile sizing to fit a wide range of body types.
- Darker colors, to show less visible wear.”
Then the company partnered up with 3,500 organizations around the country to pass out essential clothing to homeless people in their community through shelters. For example, I buy a pair of socks, then Bombas would donate a pair to a local shelter near Grove City and distribute them within 12 months. They didn’t stop their either. Now they sell the second and third thing asked which is underwear and t-shirts.
Over the course of time, Bombas has donated over 75,000,000 essential clothing items….
Talk about redemptive! Because I am so moved and inspired by this company, I plan on being a loyal customer.

I loved hearing more about the company Bombas as well as hearing more about their mission and vision. So cool to hear about their desire to help those in need, while also selling high quality products. Great job on your blog post!
I have had my Bombas for a few years now and I had no idea that they were a redemptive business! I love the socks and slippers I have from them and now love them even more. It’s great to see that such a high quality brand is able to incorporate a redemptive aspect to their business.
I do not have Bombas, but my sister does and she loves them! She is always talking about them and it is great to see that they have a redemptive focus. I have even seen TV ads of theirs where they briefly mention their redemptive focus. It is cool to see them growing like they are and expanding their product line.
I have never heard of this company Bombas, but I loved reading and learning about what they do. I really love how they are willing to help people in need my donating essential clothing!
