The Well Coffeehouse

The Well Coffeehouse

Who loves coffee?? I sure do! And what’s better than a company that not only serves coffee, but they put profits towards people in need and are struggling with poverty? This coffee company has a bold vision to make a difference in its community and the ones around! The Well Coffeehouse’s journey started back in Nashville in 2012 by building up the community and trying to achieve meaningful impacts globally, like building water wells, and prioritizing safe water needs in the countries that they source their coffee from. Since then, thousands now have access to safe water around the globe. The Well Coffeehouse’s website also lists many of their accomplishments with helping a lot of countries and people have better access to better water! Also on their website, they have stated that “Since opening in 2012, we have donated over $200,000 and impacted over 50 communities and 20,000 people with clean water, health, and dignity.” That is so good! With a mission like The Well Coffeehouse, this makes you want to try out their coffee and keep going back for more! Not only do they serve their community by producing some of the best coffee, but they also want to make a difference by helping others with providing water! We need more companies like this in the world 🙂

  1. This is a very interesting concept as they created a way to impact the community for the better. As their profits go to communities that don’t have access to water, the business concept is a simple way for us to contribute to a good cause through such a simple act. Since coffee nowadays is a part of our daily lives, why not allow some of the money to contribute to something good. In doing so, this allows the needy to have a better quality of life and makes a great way to have a redemptive business become successful.

  2. This is a great business! I’m wondering if they could get their beans from countries and towns in need of jobs and build upon their business with redemptive sourcing. If they continue to make their coffee better, that would also help their effort to sell as much coffee as possible.

  3. I think that this coffee shop is serving their community in a great way and serving others through their mission. The fact that they are donating their profits to help people get clean water is awesome! These are businesses that i would rather go to and spend money at, rather than big chains like Starbucks or Dunkin. There’s a cafe in Aliquippa, Pa called Uncommon Grounds and their mission is amazing, making me want to go there often and spend my money there!

  4. I love how the Well Coffeehouse gives back to the communities and countries that they source their coffee beans from. That is a wonderful vision and mission. This coffee shop has great reason to sell coffee, and because of that, I bet they receive many customers.
