Hagan’s Christian Church is a rural church in northern West Virginia. Our team was tasked with helping them to modernize their technology by revamping their website, aligning their marketing through a newer, sleeker logo, and giving them suggestions on wifi routers and range extenders to improve bandwidth for better streaming.
Our initial virtual meeting with Pastor Issac Harmon. This meeting was designed to better understand the needs and expectations of the church leadership for us. We reviewed a lot of useful information from this meeting. Going into the meeting, we were nervous that Issac would be hesitant to accept the idea of a new logo. However, after tactfully bringing it up, we realized that he was not only willing to change it, he was eager to do so.
Issac also gave us useful information on the state of their streaming services. We realized that the church did not have enough internet bandwidth to be pushing videos live. We looked into the situation and realized that they currently have the best internet bandwidth that is available in their area.
The biggest area that Issac expressed interest in was the website. After looking at the website, or team realized that it did need a major facelift. We begin working on prototypes and proofs of concept for the leadership at Hagan’s to approve.
This first meeting with Issac was very informative and gave our team a head start on the work that was to come. We gained a lot of valuable information, and we also got a preview into the church that we where tasked with helping.

That's so awesome you were given the opportunity to work alongside a team to help this church in West Virginia. This is such an awesome project because you're not only serving the church but you and your team can gain experience with redemptive entrepreneurship and practice what you've learned in class!
