Carey Nieuwhof wrote an article calling for more Entrepreneurial Leadership within the modern church. He claims that current church leaders have become complacent with current church growth, and even critical of churches that do grow. As a church, we should be striving to grow our congregation and spread the gospel to as many people as we can. He claims that there are five essential characteristics that entrepreneurial leaders can bring to the church. First, a willingness to take risks. Second, a willingness to experiment. Third, a relentless discontent with the status quo. Fourth, boldness. and Finally a bias for action. According to Nieuwhof, all of these characteristics will lead to a better, faster growing church.

Although I do like the 5 ways to grow a church, I think the best way is to just focus on Christ and the finished work at the cross. Preach Jesus! His love will drive people in! I think the modern church has made it too complex of ways on how to bring people to church when it is super simple! Just preach Jesus.
