One of the coolest skills that human beings possess is the ability to create things. From pieces of art and music, to advanced technology and modes of transportation. We as a species are incredibly skilled at thinking of new and creative ways of changing the world in which we live. Being creative is one of the greatest ways we can reflect our Creator.
Take music for example. In essence, music is simply manipulating soundwaves to create patterns that are appealing to us. Regardless of the level of musicality in each human being, everyone at some point or another has created their own little tune to hum while they worked or played. Many have taken these little sparks of creativity and turned them into complete songs, and others still have gone further to create full-blown symphonies.
Art and its numerous forms is another way human beings express creativity. From sculptures, to paintings, from movies to videogames. God has not only given humans the ability to think of scenes or images, but also turn them into pieces that can be experienced by others.
In my opinion, creating things is one of the best ways to worship the Lord. By using the tools that He provided, we’re able to make things that bring joy and happiness to others.

I love this post, such a good reminder of the creative freedom God gives us to worship Him! The analogy to music is really cool, and a great way to think about creativity.
I think God loves music immensely and I think you are right to say that creativity is an amazing attribute. Good thing Grove City College is a hub of creativity!
