Aliquippa PA is a very special place. I have been so lucky to be involved in mission work in Aliquippa. The work done here is so transformative, and there are so many great things that have sprouted from the mission here. One of them is Communicycle. Volunteers power Communicycle to allow kids to work on and fix their bikes and ultimately build fruitful relationships with them. In 2011, a work crew was working on building a ramp for a handicapped woman, and she kindly asked them to fix her grandson’s bike. After the bike was fixed, the whole neighborhood heard about the work that was done at the woman’s house and many children began asking for their bikes to be repaired as well. This was the first seed of Communicycle. To this day there have been thousands of bike repairs where that came from. Seeing Communicycle work first hand is so amazing. There is a very obvious love for community, helping, and spreading the word of God. Communicycle gives life back to bikes and people. Working off of donations and volunteers, Communicycle is available to anyone in the community, and loves gaining new volunteers no matter their skillset. From starting out in the backyard in Aliquippa, this organization has been able to expand work on bikes to the neighboring areas in Beaver County.
Their mission statement says it all:
“Communicycle uses bikes to bring together people and like-minded community organizations, in order to maximize the opportunity for real and lasting change in both individual’s lives and entire communities.”
Communicycle is a very redemptive organization, and it is so cool to watch God work though the volunteers to reach and help kids and community members.

Communicycle seems like a very interesting business idea that can help a lot of people and already has. People needed a business like this and they found the demand and were able to supply with what they are able to and then people started giving money to help with the repairs and keep the business going. A very good way to come across something that is needed and jump on the chance.
Wow, reading about Communicycle and how they came to be is so touching! Thank you for sharing how this organization has impacted you and how they came to be. The creators of this organization are brilliant for doing such simple tasks but reaching many young hearts. I enjoyed reading about this organization and glad you found a way to serve God's Kingdom through it.
